Ashley McClendon

Medical Assistant

Hi! I’m Ashley McClendon. I am the Medical Assistant to Dr. Vanita Bagdure at Allen Internal Medicine. Helping others has always been a passion of mine and has led me to my calling of working in the healthcare industry. I have held many positions across different healthcare settings and have valued every experience and every opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my patients.

Away from work, I am a mother to 5 beautiful and sweet children, ranging in age from 7-17. Yes, they keep me busy!! But they are also my biggest blessings in life, and I wouldn’t change a single thing about any of them. I also enjoy being outdoors and in the sunshine, whether that be a fun weekend camping, playing disc golf with my love, or just sitting on the patio by a fire.

I aspire to continue my education and work in the healthcare industry by pursuing my RN license. My current dream job would be to become a Nurse Practitioner and return to be able to work under Dr. Bagdure in a Physician’s capacity.
